The lending marketplace team includes professionals from the banking, fintech, and technology sectors, all focused on building seamless financial solutions for our users.
Overview of the Role:​
As the Operations Lead for IndiaMART’s Lending Marketplace, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations, collaborating with both internal teams and external banking and financial partners. Your primary focus will be on managing the tele-calling team, generating and tracking leads, ensuring timely reporting and coordination, and overseeing the end-to-end flow of business loans.
The Problem You’ll Help Solve:​
Businesses often face challenges in accessing the financial support they need. By joining our team, you will help us bridge this gap, enabling smoother loan disbursements and financial solutions for India’s small and medium enterprises. You’ll streamline processes, manage partner relationships, and optimize our operational efficiency to ensure that every loan lead is handled with precision.
The Craft You’ll Build:​
You will be instrumental in creating a highly efficient operation that not only generates leads but also ensures a seamless customer experience throughout the lending process. From coordinating with tele-calling teams to ensuring compliance with partners’ requirements, your efforts will be crucial in building an end-to-end lending process. You’ll also be responsible for analyzing Reverse MIS reports, identifying gaps, and implementing strategies to improve the sales process at our partners’ end.

This role goes beyond operations. It requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams. Whether it’s working with finance to streamline invoicing or gathering feedback from stakeholders to enhance customer experience, you’ll need to balance hard skills with a human touch. Your leadership will play a key part in motivating teams and building an environment that prioritizes both efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Collaborations:​
• Internal: You’ll work closely with IndiaMART’s internal teams, including finance, product, and customer service, to ensure a streamlined lending process.
• External: You’ll engage with banking and non-banking financial partners, as well as other lending institutions, to facilitate loan disbursals, cross-sell financial products, and improve overall partner coordination.
The Impact You’ll Make:​
As the Operations Lead, your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our lending marketplace. From increasing lead generation to ensuring faster loan disbursals, your work will empower businesses by giving them quicker access to the funds they need. This is a pivotal role that will shape the success of IndiaMART’s new venture into financial services.
Skills Required:​
• Experience: 3-6 years in operations, call center management, or sales channels within a Bank, NBFC, or fintech, especially in the lending sector.
• Team Leadership: Proven experience in managing and leading teams in sales or financial operations.
• Lending Knowledge: Familiarity with small-ticket business loans and underwriting policies.
• Analytical Ability: Strong command over data analysis and reporting, particularly using MS Excel.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Process Optimization: Ability to identify gaps in the sales process and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
